For our 2nd anniversary we put our Southwest points to good use and flew from Baltimore to Vegas. It's been 10 years since I've visited Vegas (sheesh 10 years), so I wanted to have a good time, but not break my pockets. I found a cheap room for the Luxor on Groupon and decided to book that along with our $14 (total, all we had to do was pay taxes) one way flights. From Vegas we rode the Megabus to LA to see our family and event zipped down to San Diego for the day on Saturday to see brother-in-law and the babies. We had a great time and I think hubby realized just how much he misses his family and Los Angeles. Time to plan the next trip. Where in the world are we going next?
Day 1 - good eats, beach roaming, havaianas store
Day 2 - Subways and Escadaria Selaron, sunset on Copacabana
Day 3 - Political protests, Fogo de Chao
Day 4 - Cristo Redentor, Pao de Acucar, late night dinner
Day 5 - Morning shopping, Ipanema, Atlantis Restaurant (Sofitel Hotel)
I'll definitely be back to Brasil. Right now it ranks in my top 3. Click here to see a little more of my travel.
Spent the New Year in the desert with a few good friends! Traveled to north Arizona to visit Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend (who knew it got that cold and actually snowed in Arizona), relaxed at the Jurlique Spa (you have to try the 60 minute Nirvana massage), ate some good food, toasted the New Year near the fire pit, visited old Scottsdale, went to the movies, did some light shopping, and indulged in plenty of girl talk. This country has some of the most beautiful landscapes. I mean think about it; on one end there's New York City and on the other end, canyons and desert. I would love to explore more of the country's landscapes in 2016. Yea, I think I'm going to make that happen. Happy New Year everyone.

New York is always a good idea, especially in the Fall.
